This trip was disappointing in several ways. My mom and I have been receiving pedicures here for more than 2 years. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will never return! First, we went together to enjoy spending time and visiting as our nails were done. We ordered drinks upon arrival which never arrived. I had to walk to the front to collect them. Secondly, my mom was completely done prior to anyone arriving to begin my service. I completely understand being busy, howev...er, we have been there under much less crowds and received wonderful simultaneous service. Third, when my pedicure finally started, my mom went to the front and commented to the desk about the service. She returned, and nobody ever stopped by to check on us. A major concern I expressed to my mom was that my pedicure would be rushed, due to the fact that hers was already finished. That leads to the fourth issue. From start to finish, my pedicure lasted less than 20 minutes! The lotion was still extremely wet on my legs, because I didn't get much of a massage at all! This is one of the best parts! So, we were there for more than an hour total. The fifth major issue I have is the manager's response to our issues. When I pointed out that my total pedicure lasted less than 20 minutes, the manger's attitude toward me was combative. She asked if I had timed it. Well, yes, I had. I texted a friend when I was just getting serviced, and I also looked at the clock on the drying station when I was done. This was 19 minutes. The pricing menu says this should take 30 minutes. The manager then stated that we should have said something during our service and not at the end. I pointed out that I had been up once to retrieve our drinks and commented on the wait. My mom also went to the front when her pedicure was done to voice her concerns. When we made a comment that we would try somewhere else next time, the manager said that upset her and we shouldn't say that. She would talk to the employee. Fine. That is your job as a manager: try to improve your employees. However, the manager's most important job is to make the customer happy. She took $5 off my pedicure. That is less than 20%! If she wanted to make sure to have a returning customer, her attitude should have been much better! When she asked if that was fair, I responded that I didn't believe it was. She responded that was the best she could do, because her worker "worked" for 20 minutes.
