I went here with a friend and was treated abysmally. My friend requested shellac manicure - the technician refused to do a manicure and simply painted her nails but charged her the same price as the full shellac manicure. The technician was very rough and sighed and was extremely rude any time she moved. He also made rude comments about both of us in another language thinking we did not understand. Overall the experience was atrocious. We will not be going back and will be telling friends never to come here. Read Less

NEUTRAL BAY VENUE Unbelievably incompetent.Taking off shellac scraped and split my nails from the tip ... They continued to split constantly until starting to grow out .... now more than 2 months. Too incompetent to leave the acetone on long enough despite voicing my concern. The guy did mine. NEVER again although I have used the Mosman store many times and have had proper treatment there. This was the worst nail place I've ever been to. I got shellac done and it chipped the next day. My mum came with me and she got a pedicure. They were so rough that she had to ask them repeatedly to be more gentle because they were tearing the skin on her toes. I went back to get the chips fixed and instead of taking off the chipped shellac she went to paint over it to "patch it up" I said that wasn't good enough and to do it properly. So rude and awful nail experience. Don't waste your time or money. Read Less

This is about the store in "Neutral Bay" - you get what you pay for. When paid by cash there's a 10% discount. Remember: that's when you spend over $40. It does not say the minimum amount anywhere. Once I only got to know after the treatment- at the cashier, and I did not get the discount. However, with the discount prices are reasonable. As I said, you get what you pay for. Be patient when they talk to each other loudly in their language. Yesterday I went to do SNS, the whole time my technician was focusing on speaking to the female worker nearby who was on the phone. They were both interested in what was being said at the other end of the line. And SNS wasn't perfect. Unpolished patches at the edges and a bump on the thumb nail. But I decided to live with that as price came down to $40.50. I get my waxing done here as well. It's ok, but you don't get that professional care. Hence I don't do eyebrows here but for everything else that does not need precision, this place is reasonable. Read Less

Absolutely beyond belief, in a negative way. They have little regard for the customer. I made an appointment with the one technician that I thought was half decent. I was there on time to be told that she was at the Mosman salon and I had to go there if I wanted her. The staff that were present were exceptionally rude, talking in raised voices, as if I had done something wrong.I had left work early to fulfill my appointment. I have been present in their Neutral Bay salon three times where there have been "issues" with other clients. Heed my warning: STAY AWAY!!!! I'd give it a minus review if that were possible. I have had the good fortune to have had some pretty outstanding manicures in other countries but Sydney seems to have taken the route of the NY style cheap and cheerful Asian operated nail bars. That said, of the ones I have tried in the lower north shore, this salon has a more professional team with thorough and clean services. Pretty meticulous and they consistently do a great job. With the proliferation of nail salons in the lower north shore it's surely going to be a challenge to pick a good one, and whilst I know I SHOULD be making my choice on all sorts of rational criteria like "Do the technicians wear face masks?" or "Is there a strong smell of ammonia in the salon?", I am afraid to say I dropped in to 4Ever Nails for one good reason: it is the closest possible option to home. Β It's also new - it only opened mid 2011 and had some great opening offers. That said, the service was pretty good - my pedicure lasted a good two weeks (though I did have to remind my technician to paint the end of the nail, which I find delays the inevitable chip), and I was introduced to Shellac on my fingers. It takes a little longer to apply this 'instant dry' alternative, though as the ladies pointed out to me, the extra application time equates to the time you have to wait for the usual lacquer to dry. Will I be back? Sure. It's easy to get to and the service was efficient. Might ask them to turn down the massage chairs though - the mechanised pummelling got a bit much after a while. Read Less
