I have been on a business trip to Melbourne and Sydney and my nails were in need of some TLC. Having travelling from the UK and working in londin, I have visited many salons, but never really whilst outside of the UK. I googled when we got to Manly and up popped The Little Nail Studio. I walked in a made an appointment, returning in 4 hours. The salon is a stone’s throw from the beach, so easy to find. It is lovely and clean and he Girls are smartly dressed in uniforms. I can’t remember the name of my technician, but she was lovely. Ok, her English wasn’t perfect, but we got by. I wasn’t there to have a long conversation, I was there to have my nails done after all! Outstanding service...you will not be disappointed! Both my partner and I have been coming to see Amy and her team since the studio opened over a year ago. We always receive a friendly, warm, first name welcome, excellent attention to detail and always leave with amazing nails. Will never go back and will never recommend it to anyone. The nail tech was rude and don’t speak English. Asked for the manager and got another lady, Amy, who doesn’t speak English too. Tried to overcharge and did a very rushed poor job on my nail. Won’t be back!!! What bullsh#t is this!!! I paid for my nail with cash. At no stage did I went to Cole to do my shopping!!! Iv been getting my nails done half my life time and have been to nice numerous nail studios in sydney and then little nail studio in manly opened. What can I say. The service is 5 star, clean studio, beautiful work, and customer service is the best iv ever experienced.the girls are so friendly, knows exactly what you need, always takes care of me and make sure the service is 5 star . Iv never been experienced this sort of service in any nail place Iv been to. Worst experience ever. After trying to get into my normal nail bar three times but couldn't due the amount of people they had in there each time I thought I would try this nail studio. I was the only person in the shop now I realise why??? Between the hose coming away from the foot bath and saturating me and the girl to busy laughing to turn it off and get a towel to dry me the pedicure itself was the worst I've had in a long time.... Then I had to get myself off the chair once they were finished try and put my shoes( which were dripping wet) on without causing any damage (Still not one person in the shop) then I had to pay them for the appalling service. I previously gave this place a 3 but on Alex working with me to return and give them another try ... I can happily say this is now a 5 star review! The service was great today and I had an amazing nail technician who was super friendly and great at her job! I’m a happy customer again and appreciate the salon working to give me a better experience. Thanks ladies! (Old review below) I had a great experience my first time, but I came here two weeks ago on a Friday and it was ...a very different experience. The two ladies working there were nice but very, very busy. They still told me they could fit me in - but it was a very rushed experience and they moved on to the next customer even before starting my manicure (I had a pedi and mani), so I had to sit and wait for quite some time before getting their attention for my manicure to be finished. The paint coat was rushed as well so it didn’t look great for what I paid for... and started chipping quickly. One lady next to me even walked out before getting started after waiting for so long (but being told they could fit her in). It was well-ventilated which was great as I can't handle the fumes in most nail salons. They did a great mani & pedi and fixed my spit nails. Loved the hot stones and massage on my legs. Will definitely be going back. Read Less
