Pearl nail at Kotara. I went in for a pedicure and in the process nearly had my nails ripped off. I asked for a mini manicure to have my nails shaped but no polish. She said $50 so I agreed and the when it came time to pay they want to charge me $60. The lady who was charging had no manners at all. She practically hissed at me. I’ve been going to Pearl Nails at Glendale for some time now, they have always done a fantastic job and I’ve always been so happy with my nails to the point that when I am asked where I get my nails done I’m more than happy to recommend them. Unfortunately that all changed today, I finally convinced my Mum to go there and could not stop apologising to her after. She got a full set done and I got an infill. I absolutely love Pearl Nails. Everyone is so friendly. They always do their best to fit you in as quickly as possible. They are very clean...I've never had an issue with hygiene etc. I honestly could not fault them at all. Very happy to recommend them. Read Less

My daughter visited the Kotara Pearl Nails today to have french nails done along with a pedicure, she was RIPPED OFF big time. Would NEVER go back. Very disappointing service and was humiliated by the manager and by the attendant, who just laughed when challenged. Will be telling all my friends. Read Less

My post is specifically for Charlestown store. Usually go to kotara with no issues. Not even been 2weeks with tips done for a wedding in QLD and metallic polish already peeled after 4 days. Ruff edges not even filed so caught on clothing. Already 3 mm growm out after 9days where as at kotara i get 3 weeks. I got my sons girlfriends done same time and got charged 95 just for mine so i spent quite a bit on September 23rd. Will never go back to Charlestown store. Was going to go back to kotara to get i filled but only if kenny does it as last time I got it done a young girl at kotara did just what charlestown did and 6 lifted very soon after. Just so dissapointed considering the amount i have spent over a long period of time. Can kotara help me or do i find another business. Read Less

I went there on Friday to get my SNS removed and new colour put on. After the SNS got removed in acetone the girl doing my manicure put the used acetone back into the bottle and put it back into the draw to reuse. I won't go back because it is really unhygienic. Read Less

I wish I could give you less. My friend who has been going to you for several months now was absolutely gutted how she was treated today. Her SNS failed and had started to peel after only 4 days and then the colour chipped. When she went back to get it repaired, you managed to tear off her 2 of her own nails and totally dissed her. She ended up in tears and asked to have the whole lot removed. Her nails are now short as, where they were strong and had good length. Not only have you lost a good customer, you have lost a really good PR person, as she used to sing your praises. Nice of you to tell her you wouldn't charge her for removing the colour. The only redeeming person in the store was Wendy, who tried to comfort her. Shame about the girl who didn't do her job properly in the first place. Read Less

I was in there for 2 hours today getting SNS on my nails. They had to redo some because they were bumpy or chipping, and made one of my fingers bleed from too much filing. I kept asking for shorter nails and they didn't make them shorter. Now my nails look like bleeding claws! Read Less

This review is specifically about the Glendale shop(they don't appear to have their own page). My partner went in for a manicure and ended up with a finger bleeding profusely and was still charged for the service. She ended up with only 9 painted nails which were smudged by the nail technician due to the fact she seemingly lost her nerve after causing the bleed. My partner left the shop in tears due to the poor service. Will never go back again Read Less

Bad pedicure, the lady just didn't even try, then one of the other ladies pointed out her crappy work and made her fix my toes, but she cut my left big toe, both of them were very rough with my toes and the lady got GEL nail polish outside my nails, she just didn't care, I made her fix it.
