The moment I stepd into Kim's Salon I was greeted so warmly and so welcomed! I was very nervous when I booked for Eyebrows feathering however the warm welcoming puts me straight at ease. Kim was so friendly and also very helpful. She explained to me about her method, procedures and her plan on what to do for my Eyebrows. Kim drew out a shape until I was completely happy, as I am very fussy and particularly on how I want them. I wanted them natural and not too fake looking. Kim reassured me that she will do it very natural and build up on my complementary touch up session which I was very happy about. Not to mention the numbing cream was so great that I couldn't feel a thing!!!! The outcome of my shape was amazing, just the way I wanted, so natural, not even red or sore!!! My healing was within 5 days as I followed the instructions thoroughly and kept it very clean... I love my brows so much. For a little 'me time', Carmen's Nails and Beauty is a pretty decent place to go to get all prettied up before a special occasion (or in my case, before I head overseas). There are quite a lot of beauty salons in Hurstville Westfield that Carmen's has to compete with, but it is only one I go to inside the Hurstville arcade (which is pretty handy if you don't have a booking and just want to walk in). Comparatively, the prices are a little cheaper than inside the shopping centre (but not by much!) and they cover a whole range of treatments including microdermabrasion, semi-permanent eyelashes, spray tanning, laser and the usual waxing, facials, manicures, pedicures and spa therapy.
