I went (28.07.17) to do manicure and just to paint my toes. This was my first visit to this place. A lady asked me to sit on a massage chair and put my feet on the footrest on a dirty towel. She asked me to keep my hands on my lap and without a towel on my lap and did manicure and applied nail polish. Didn't even wait till it's dry to apply the next coating she applied other coatings on my nails and toes. No professional drying method only air drying . asked me to sit down till it dry for 45 minutes I felt like I am on the road doing my nails.!!!. I could see the Manager just going up and down not saying anything. Today 29.08.17 early morning I rang and said my nail polish has came off. The lady asked me to come to the shop. I asked a lady whether I could talk to the Manager. She said Manager is not in today. When I went there they asked me to sit down. I said what happened keep asked me to sit down. After talking to them this time they asked me to go to a table they touch up my nails and drying with a fan. I said didn't happen yesterday. The lady told me this is how they normally do.. I asked on the lap? I said you didn't do professional way. After finished nails I asked one of the girls that i want to talk to the Manager. She showed me the Manager. Manager was there. they did lie before. The manager was very rude , arrogant, no customer service at all or no apologies to me. She said I am aggressive they have cameras. I said I am not aggressive . I am telling you what happened to me. She didn't want to listen. Also I said they used dirty towels, also I didn't see the girl opened a sterilized bag to get the instruments out. I said I could complain. she said you go and tell the management and fair trading they won't listen to you. we are working for 25years. I am the only customer complained, I could say this is the worst nail place I have been!!!....I will never go there again!.... Read Less

Listen, I do like this place. It's bright. They have so many colour options. They have thus far been able to help me right away, no wait. However my experience today may keep me from going back. My previous visit was great, the colour was great, it lasted, and the girl took her time and was meticulous with the polish application. This time was a different story. The girl started by RIPPING the tip of my nail off so badly that the only possible way to salvage it was applying a false tip thus further damaging my nail (she first tried filing it but almost broke the skin.. !!). You'd think after a ripping a clients nail halfway off and knowing how upset they are, you'd make sure the rest of the experience was 100% perfect. Yet that was NOT anywhere near the case. The polish application is beyond messy, and my nails were not filed smoothly at all. There's something unsettling about knowing you will need to go home and file your nails so they don't catch on anything after PAYING for a manicure. I asked for the girls name, twice, which she mumbled to me both times. There was no way she could've felt as if she'd done her job upon me leaving, and I let the girl at the register know I was unhappy this visit. I'm giving 3 stars simply because of my first experience and not wanting to discount the effort made then. Will I be back? Possibly. They give you a client card and every 3rd visit you receive $5 off, and given that the first time I had such a positive experience I'm willing to give one last try. At the end of the day, I am paying for a service and I expect it to at the very least be done right, and not leave knowing I could've done a better job myself. The counter girl is friendly the rest of the staff not at all. I did not see a smile the whole time I was there the girls did not acknowledge my presence not even a "hello" or smile. My main concern is I did not see the tubs being sanitized before or after each use. There was hair on my chair which I had to clean I won't be returning. Read Less

I paid extra for a gel manicure and 3 nails completely fell off. I called the next day that they were open and I was promised that they would be fix free of charge. The next day I came in and Jennifer who was very rude refused to repair them and said they don't guarantee services especially gel. She said they don't have a manager and an owner would call me. The most luxurious salon for a variety of beauty services. Although most see it as a nail salon this swanky boutique parlor kicks it up a notch offering hair and skin care while maintaining excellent customer service throughout. And the Victorian style Art Deco furnishings are to die for! Who can say no to having a pedicure on a throne? Not me. You won't ever regret coming here. I must emphasise, I would NOT recommend this place. This was my first ever place to have my (shellac) nails done. I had no clue what to do with my nails (eg step when I have to put my nails in water/acetone or under UV light to dry) so I asked the staff (Asian lady) for instructions to let her know it was my first time doing it...and she was so rude and explained every step with one word (eg "put", "NO", "there", 'in"). Fair enough, she might not know how to explain things in English? I just thought this was my own fault not "knowing" how the flow usually goes so I apologised for being such a dumb customer, but she didn't even look into my eyes. Next time I visit, I would know what to do, so I did the following month. Again, it was a different staff who was expression-less and had no customer service what-so-ever. The colour I chose was a little lighter than usual (light shimmery pink) and after I've paid and went back home, I looked at my nails properly and I could see my original nail underneath... My mother and friends all agreed that they've never seen such bad job after having shellac done. So I went back and told them that I was not satisfied with the job. The staff did do another coating for free but was hesitant and blamed ME for choosing such light colour. The staff did NOT apologise either. Within a month time, I went to remove the shellac, whilst the staff try to upsell for a new colour but I obviously refused. When I looked at my nails after the removal, I can see they have not removed everythint properly, my nails still had reminants of shellac which I cannot remove with my own nail polish remover (which I tried at home) and my nails have scratches all over due to rough work... Nails are ALWAYS done rushed even when there are no customers waiting, staffs are always talking to each other in their own language - I feel as if I am the one being laughed at. I am NOT going to go back again knowing my nails would look worse. I don't know why I kept going back hoping for a better job each time I visited but NO, never was I satisfied with any staff. Finally found a place where they actually put effort in what they specialize in. I was desperate to find a place where my hair would be done correctly , and this is it. It is worth every single dollar I paid ! I loved it !!!!!! Thank you! My hair is totally restored! I'm very unhappy with the service received today.... Way over charged In my opinion..... Total was $122 for a gel full set, reg pedi, and a reg paint on my child's nails (finger and toe) ridiculous!!! I was excited and wanted to really love it her but this was my first and last time going here....my full set alone was $75 for very crooked bumpy acrylic nails and just a plain color that's crazy! The tech was nice but that's not enough she should get more practice before u having her charge this amount!!! The place is dirty and to me looks like no one cares about the place or employees, they dress pretty raggedy...all black but I couldn't tell the employees from the guest which isn't good ....
