7th October 2016: Thank you to all the customers who have left a honest feedback about this salon's quality of work and staff behaviour. At first however, despite the negative feedback, I went ahead to book an appointment in the hope that perhaps my experience would be different. The lady whom I spoke to on the phone seemed courteous but when I told her about my concern regarding all their negative feedback on google reviews, she justified it by saying that "every customer is different and has something different to say". She didn't address the negative feedback and how they may be improving their service, instead, she said that "it depends on what time you come in, if it's busy we do our best", to which I responded .."well, the point of booking appointments is so that you can manage time, service quality and enhance the customer experience?" and she said, "don't worry it's okay, we'll do the pedicure for you". I ended up cancelling the booking, I just didn't want to take the risk of experiencing a bad treatment result like the other customers have. Perhaps, when their positive reviews outweighs their negative reviews, I might consider going there - such a shame they are just around the corner from my work, very convenient. But I want quality assurance more than a bad result with my pedicure. Manhattan Nails staff and managers, please read your reviews, listen to what customers are saying and start making improvements.
