Nail Max & Spa was one of two salons I've been to make gel nail. I absolutely loved this place. When i arrived, the owner and her team greeted me very warmly. I started coming Nails Max & Spa after I got fed up with Mani Pedi. Nails Max & Spa was my favorite place to go for french manicure. They took such good, gentle care, I was offered wonderful massage. The owner has insisted that my nails be perfect before she let me out there. The staff here were too enthusiastic. Nails Max & Spa is what a nail salon should be: quiet and relaxing. I've tried Nails Max & Spa twice and both times were pleasant. What can I say, this place is amazing. I called and made an appointment so I was taken care of as soon as I arrived. The gel polish lasted me way longer than other places I've gone to. They are so attentive to detail and always maks sure your service is flawless everytime. The stylists were super friendly, talkative and very good at their jobs. Prices weren't bad, typical for a good mani/pedi. But if you have a little bit od extra money DEFINITELY for for the $50 deluxe pedicure. SO worth it. If I'm ever back out in Rocky Mount this will be the place I go to get my nails done. Read Less

When I found out Nails Max & Spa in Rocky Mount, my search is over. That was the right decision. The employees offer you a drink and are so nice and attentive the whole time. I got a shellac manicure and it went without chipping for almost a month. I liked watching how they did every detail. They're on the pricier side but to be honest, it's worth it. When i came in to the nail max they was nice and friendly. The problem that i have is i wrote down full set of nails on the paper. My daughter came back with an 40 dollar nails. I was told it would be 25.00. She had an gel set. When i talked to the older man. He is full of sh##. If i paid you the money you need to talk to me. The mother not my 17 year old daughter. I dont need you catching an attitude with me with the 40 dollars in your pocket. How are you going to compare... my child to other girls that come in the store. Your comment was that othet girls of young age come in and get their nails done with no problem. That is not my child. An caucasian was not satifified with her nails. She told the old man and lady how her nail polished was not covering her whole nails. The two ememployers gave her much respect. That is not what i got. The older man became irritated. I didnt cause a scene i was talking low. But now i am screaming dont go there. Dont trust their smiles .I told the older man not trying to be funny but sometimes we cant understand you. Plus the employer had on an mask that covers her mouth. I have learned from my 40 dollar lesson. I was recommened to go to this place. I am just new to the area and was very nervous on finding a new beautician. I came in and seen the girls at Be Waxed and Tanned and as soon as i walked in i was greeted by the lovley young ladys, there warm engery just settles your nerves and makes you feel very comfortable. The worst spray tan I have ever had. I think I was more tanned when I walked in. I said I just wanted to look tanned. I walked out ridiculously brown, waited 2 hours as instructed then rinsed off. Tan gone, nothing left. I just made a $35 donation and I'm off to a wedding as white as a ghost. Read Less
