I have been to this salon three times now over the past year and the pedicures I've received have been so half-hearted. It wouldn't have been much different if I'd have given myself a quick pedicure at home (in fact, my home pedicures are MORE thorough). The Shellac polish didn't last nearly as long as other salons and the leg massage consisted of the therapist 'slapping' my calves a few times. I honestly have no idea how they get away with charging these prices when there are several other decent nail salons in Balmain. Don't choose this one.

Inexperienced and incompetent staff that had no idea about basic nail procedures and even resulted in one of the staff having to google something! Hygienic standards were poor and my pedicure was very slap dash. Just awful.

LAZIEST STAFF IN SYDNEY...WORST NAIL SALON IN SYDNEY!!
Inexperienced lazy staff combined with cheap product not worth the Balmain prices being charged.
After a botched shellac manicure by the laziest technician in Sydney, i requested they remove the polish and give me a refund. It was a struggle to get the full refund even after showing them the horrific job done.
If you want an expensive manicure done by a lazy technician with cheap imitation product that turns out like a toddler did it then this place is for you.

There gel Polish is so horrible and cheap your paying top dollar for all cheap products and cheap service It's the worst In balmain and rozelle, the staff have no idea how to do acrylics so DO NOT WAISTE YOUR MONEY. when I was asked to go into to back room and wash my hands I almost spewed it smelt like off meat, it was dirty and I seen all the foot scrapers and toe nail cutters inside a mouldy cup it was sickening. Absolute rip offs.

24 April 2016 / Very rude staff! I've been having gel nails for 30 years now so being new to the area I was after an experienced nail tech. I walked in and politely asked how long they'd been doing nails for? the two ladies kept ignoring my question! I had to repeated myself over 6 times! they did not want to directly answer my question. I felt very uncomfortable - other clients were looking at me. After leaving with a brochure I looked back and saw the staff laughing at me. I was very upset by this unprofessional behaviour and would not recommend anyone to visit this Y & F Balmain. When you are paying good money for a service you deserve experienced and qualified staff.

I have been to this salon three times now over the past year and the pedicures I've received have been so half-hearted. It wouldn't have been much different if I'd have given myself a quick pedicure at home (in fact, my home pedicures are MORE thorough). The Shellac polish didn't last nearly as long as other salons and the leg massage consisted of the therapist 'slapping' my calves a few times. I honestly have no idea how they get away with charging these prices when there are several other decent nail salons in Balmain. Don't choose this one.
