Complete waste of time and money! I had made an appointment days prior for two manis/pedis. We showed up on time and they were completely unaware and caught off guard by my appointment until they looked at their schedule book. I mean really people, wouldn't you think to look at your scheduled appointments for the day ahead of time?! Meanwhile someone else comes in thinking they had an appointment the same time as ours! We had to wait a full hour because they were busy with other people during our appointment time. The whole experience was completely rushed because I had to be somewhere else later that day. Came in last minute for a mani pedi and it was such a lovely experience. Every one was super attentive and sweet and the spa treatment was so refreshing. They did a beautiful job on the french gel tips on both my toes and hands. Looking forward to going back for a massage another time. Read Less

I absolutely love this place and the staff! After having 3 of my friends tell me how great they are I finally went - and I am thrilled with the staff and the service they give. I have since told many of my other friends how good they are. The staff is very polite and caring and actually quite funny. They make sure you are treated well and are happy and comfortable. I live two counties away and probably could find some place much closer to home, but I truly believe they are worth the drive. They treat me well, do a great job and make sure I leave happy. Today was my second visit to Serenity. I have already scheduled my third appointment. I have had two pedicures and they were both fabulous. We scheduled our time and they had walk ins and had gotten quite busy but we never felt rushed. They took their time and treated us great. The staff is truly wonderful. June, Cathy and Hatsady really make you feel relaxed and at ease. Next time when I go back I am getting a manicure in addition to my pedicure. Hatsady was my tech both times and I love him. He makes sure I am happy from start to finish with everything from the heat of the towels to the color of the polish I chose. I will keep recommending the amazing staff at Serenity. I am new to the area and decided to give this place a try and boy am I sorry I did. I spent nearly 3 hours getting a fill (I waited an hour) and ended up missing my best friends event, even though I stated several times I was in a hurry. The other tech was late so I had to wait but the owner ended up doing my nails after and hour there. I was talked into getting gel, which I agreed to because it dries quicker and I was in a hurry. She put several coats on and spent about 30 m...inutes fixing the gel that kept running and said it was because I was taking my hand in and out (I took my right hand out once or twice to tell my friend not to pick me up because there was no way I'd be ready in time). I was not happy with my nails because they look lumpy from all the coats but I was just very ready to get out of there. Just had my nails done here with a friend. Was the worst. They rushed us in and out, barely took the time to remove the old polish and seemed to not care when we suggested both our nails were less than satisfactory. We will not be going here again. Read Less

Just had my pedicure and manicure done at your shop. Never again....... Had French tips done on my toes and fingers. Results were nothing but messy and sloppy - nails not completely covered with white tip, smudged, uneven and clear polish thick. Even the woman next to me was unimpressed with the job they had done on my nails. They tried redoing them again only to leave me sitting for ages to have them completed. WORST NAIL SALON IN CANBERRA!!!THIS PLACE DESERVES NO STARS AND I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED THAT I HAD TO GIVE IT 1 STAR TO ACTUALLY POST A REVIEW!!!! I believe that we all have bad days so I always try to give people a couple of chances....that there lies my problem with this salon, I never should have gone back and given them any more of my money!I have tried a number of their services i.e. Pedicure, Waxing, SNS Manicure, Acrylic Nails, Shellac Manicure and the quality of what they deliver is consistently SUB STANDARD!! They use cheap products and they are not the most hygienic salon I have visited either....which is very scary! I witnessed 2 people using the same pedicure chair straight after one another without anyone cleaning ANYTHING including the foot spa!!!! They used the same dirty files, the same dirty nail brushes, the same dirty tools, nothing was sterilised...I AM SO DISGUSTED!What is worse though is that their customer service is usually pretty average and becomes absolutely appalling if you happen to question their work, so much so they become extremely rude bordering on aggressive! My advice - find another salon, they're a dime a dozen anyway so don't waste your money here! Read Less
