Both my mother and daughter had manicures done and within a week the colour had peeled off several fingers. They looked beautiful at the time but I expected a longer lasting result. They have not had this problem previously. I'm not sure why it happened but my daughters nails cost $60 (and it was her natural nails painted). It's a real shame. Read Less

Went to Katylicious today for the first time after hearing lots of glowing stories about the place. Absolutely loved it! Was treated with respect and had a lovely conversation with Katy (and the other girl working there but I didn't catch her name) and another client getting her nails done. I always get a fantastic nail job here, as I work in a job where my hands are constantly working, in water etc, I find with other salons that my nails can sometimes barely last a week before they start peeling, when I go to Katylicious I can always get a minimum 2 weeks out of them! Read Less

Went here on the weekend and asked for a manicure with a shellac finish as well as old shellac removal. What I received was a rough filling of my nails, the old shellac removed and new put on. I did not receive a manicure like I asked for and only realised this when everything was done. The filing on my nails left them rough and jagged which they catch on threads etc. The nail polish which was put on for the shellac is all over my nails and cuticles, even days afterwards. It looks as though a child painted my nails. The polish which is shellac has already started to chip off because of the poor work by this place. I've had nothing but good service from Katy and her team -- even after not having my nails done for so long she remembered my face, which is always so nice and welcoming! The range of shellac is ever-growing, which means there's always a lot of colour choices, and so many style options available for the nails themselves.
