So disappointed... I started getting nails at another nail place in the mall and was never unhappy, I started going to the kippax love nails only for convenience and they have always done a good job, so I decided while I was in the mall to go to lovenails there... I WILL NEVER GO BACK. I don’t usually leave reviews but I’m am unhappy my nails have been ruined, they were done by a girl with blonde short hair and eyebrow piercing and then painted by another girl. The first girl did not cut off any of the lifting and rushed my nails so much she had two hands done in no time, you can’t even put this down to being busy as I was the only one in the store, she didn’t do a good job at all! At first glance I was not happy but I didn’t have chance to say anything because she left and didn’t come back to finish my nail so I decided to paint them and I wanted a matte polish so no base coat was put on just a coloured polish straight onto my bare gel nail and the polish was so bad and chunky with steaks, I went home and removed it straight away and now my nails are discoloured. I won’t be able to have bare nails now because I’m so embarrassed with how bad they look. I’ve spent $70 on getting gel extensions, I’ve had them refilled 4 times at $35 and coming to your store one time and they will need to be removed and start again.. One word, appalling. My sister and I both went in and we are baffled at just how this place remains in business after our experience today & more so after reading through these reviews. Staff are disconnected, unwelcoming & don’t smile. Ambience is just as cold. Service wise, utterly disappointing and consistent with all of the negative comments already listed. I’ve walked out with a full set of SNS nails that are as bumpy as a camels back. LITERALLY. It’s quite sad and funny at the same time, almost like - is this a JOKE?! This is the finished product?! When I noticed a large finger nail imprint (from the inexperienced technician pressing into my nail), I asked if she could fix it. She looked quite annoyed, making snappy comments in a foreign language and attempted to cover her mistake with another layer of powdered colour. It looked far worse than it did before and I asked again, could you please fix this? I won’t be paying $60 if that’s how my nail will look. Can you fix it or not? Again, snappy comments in another language and attempted to fix. Have never sat through a more painful & ridiculous nail appointment in my life. My sister & I both paid in full, in hopes that it’ll go towards fixing the greying, chipped paint on the walls or towards new chairs that aren’t a stained brown colour with rips in them. Chairs for the spa pedicure seemed dated and the massage function in one of the chairs didn’t work. The salon didn’t appear to be as hygienic as other nail salons I have been to (e.g. they reuse old toe separators). I got a spa pedicure and they cut the skin on my toe, causing it to bleed. Worst experience ever. My first visit to this place and I regret spending $37 for a pedicure here. My feet is still dirty rough and cracked. I had to request them to scrub it and moisture it for which I was told to go home n clean it myself and it’s not their job to clean customers feet- like seriously! This is not the first time am doing one and I know how the feet looks n feels after getting pampered. The staff apologised later but eod I didn’t get what I expected. Never coming back here. Very unprofessional, rude and outrageously priced. I was there on Friday and I had never been charge so much for the same service in Australia, not even in the same franchise of Love Nails in Kingston! For SNS manicure and shellac pedicure I am always charge around $90, and this time they charged me $122 arguing the $50 for SNS, does not include manicure and that they charge for this separately. That is not the way it is charged anywhere else. Plus, they were extremely rude and starting shouting once I inquired for the change in price. I will never go back there and do not recommend the service to anyone. Besides, the quality of the products they use is very suspicious since the powder does not say SNS, but NNS, which makes me think they use something generic of bad quality. Had the worst service in the world. Terrible effort and poor job on the nails, not tidy or clean and didn’t put enough coats to make it smooth. The ladies spoke Vietnamese and didn’t speak any English which was very hard to communicate the Colours. Never coming back. Read Less

Went to Professonails, only to find out 1 1/2 hrs later they've run out of SNS. Then went to LoveNails with my nails half done. I didn't receive a discount for them being half done. Nails were rushed and uneven. Read Less

Went to love nails Belconnen mall to have my lashes done. THe girl who did them was really nice and I didn't have any discomfort or irritation, I actually felt bad for her; as I fell asleep while getting it done..hope I didn't snore. Worst place EVER for eyelash extensions! First of all she kept leaving me in the room mid way of doing my lashes, I understand a few minutes but not long extended amounts of time, she also managed to get glue in my eye which made them water perfusely and become red and very irritated! When she had finished, my eyes were in so much pain and felt like they were glued together which she pulled apart so I could open my eyes. After paying for the lashes my eyes stung and wouldn't stop tearing up, she didn't say anything in regards to it and just assumed I was new to eyelash extension (which I'm not). In saying that, straight after getting the lashes done my partner helped me to the pharmacy to purchase eye drops. All in all DON'T GET THEM DONE HERE! I wouldn't even rate them with 1 star!
