I have been yesterday to get my nails done, I opted for 48$(pedi+mani) ,they have charged me extra 30$ for choosing shellac manicure . The Unapologetic and rude manicurist, she has cut chunks of chunks of skin cuticle deeper , she ended up injuring my 4 fingernails and she put some god knows blue liquid on it leading to more painful situation. Does she even know the small area of the skin is there to protect the nails from infection , leaving the nails unprotected leads to fungus and bacterial infection. Never ever recommending or going to recommend this place, lady who serviced me needs some training and lots of lots of knowledge, such a rude awful service, I ended up placing a bandage such a disgusted service. J&F is an awesome nail salon! They are always accommodating whether I’m walking in last minute or making an appointment. They introduced me to the nail dip and it lasts me 4-6 weeks every time with absolutely no chipping. Their pedicures are wonderful too! Read Less

I will never switch to another salon, the staff is wonderful, the quality is the best! I have had salons that are all about quantity not quality! What won me over is the staff makes sure you are fully happy when you leave! Very friendly and helpful! Read Less

I'm bringing my wife here every fortnight for acrylic refill about 3 years already now from upstairs and she always having excellent service from these nicely girls. I don't know why people rated this shop like this. If you were not happy, just tell them and the owner will be happy to fix for you free. I was surprised to see a negative review for this place. After two weeks my shellac is all still intact and as shinny as the day it was done. I've tried a lot of nail places in Canberra, but I'll be settling on this one. The woman who massaged my legs was extremely attentive and was not afraid to really get into the calves. I even had the a blister on my foot which she carefully avoided throughout the treatment. I was really pleased with everything and walked out feeling relaxed and groomed. I thought I'd wait to see how the shellac lasted before writing a review. I suppose it really comes down to who you get on the day and how much energy they have to invest in the service. Worst pedicure ever.. I have paid $32 to just get my feet washed in water (didn't even clean properly). The staff was not at all responsible. She kept on chatting with her colleague while attending me. She didn't even bother to pay attention of what i was saying. Couldn't even clean the nail polish even after asking for 2 times and when complained to manager, she replied saying that sometimes polish won't go properly. But i still wonder how could it go when they tried it again. The lady who attended didn't even clean the moisturizer properly which she applied to my feet (in the name of massaging, she just applied moisturizer. That should not be called as massage). I have to tell her what she has to do for pedicure, and she cant understand english (I guess). Pathetic service and pathetic management. I suggest washing your feet at home will give good results rather than going to them. They don't even apologize for their pathetic service or return my money. The pedicure was average. I upgraded to the highest option. It came with no massage, the crack in my heals were no better when I left, but the polish was fantastic and 4 weeks later looks like the day I left. My daughter received a manicure and it chipped significantly within 24 hours of Our appointment. Read Less
