Turned up this morning to my 9am massage to the staff standing out the front because they didn't have a key to get in. The receptionest was standing at the door and didn't even speak to me until I ask if there was another way to get in, she was extremely rude. I had booked into a 90 min relaxing massage to then receive a remedial massage.. I haven't had one before so I wasn't sure what she was doing. I honestly can't fault the massage as she was very good and was very knowled...geable. But when the 60 mins was up (mind you my massage didn't start until 9:15 because we were locked out the front so I missed out on 15 minutes) she said we were done and I explained that I had booked in for a 90min massage so she had to leave to room to check. When I went to pay I was charged for the remedial massage which was $25 more than the relaxing massage. The receptionist argued with me to pay the extra money but I insisted on only paying for what I booked in for. I can't believe the apauling service I received from the reception staff. I booked a relaxing massage as I had completed the City2Surf a few days earlier and didn't want remedial or sports massage knowing it would be too hard for me at that time. The first warning bells should have gone off when the 'therapist' didn't ask me about any injuries or health issues (I was expecting a qualified therapist, not a beauty therapist to perform my massage). I was told to get undressed and get on the table face down. When the therapist came back into the room I... mentioned that I was a Remedial Therapist and just wanted a relaxing massage to ease tension. She replied with 'oh, I didn't even look at your details'. That's when the second warning bells should have gone off. She told me she was a beauty therapist with 20 years’ experience, but had worked around remedial 'masseuses' enough to know what a remedial massage involved. And that's when the third warning bells went off. At that point I almost got up and left. If you have been around remedial therapists for that long, you should know by now we hate being called masseuses! Massage Therapist please. The massage was not at all relaxing! I had to ask the therapist a number of times to ease off as the pressure was too hard for a relaxing massage. At one point both of her elbows were heavily dug into my traps and rhomboids muscles (between the shoulder blades) and again I asked her to back off. Just because I’m a Remedial Therapist does not mean that I like it hard! I was left with bruises on both gluteal muscles and my shoulders were so sore the next day that I struggled to maintain my posture during my full day of work. I had to make my own way through the corridors to get out and there was no one at the front desk to acknowledge me or to say goodbye. At the very least, please inform your clients or indicate on your website and online booking system that relaxation massages will be performed by beauty therapists, not qualified remedial therapists. If I could give 0 stars I would! I had the Spa Retreat Pack at 9am on Saturday 5th August. The lady I had was 15 minutes late. When in the room she almost completely forgot the disposable underwear for me. The robe I put on felt damp and didn't smell pleasant. When in the sauna I was interrupted by the lady twice; once to hand me water, then she opened the door later to check on me. If she was on time and prepared for me she would have had the water ready prior to me getting ...in, and rather than open the door to check on me just gesture! Being in a single person sauna you're letting all the heat out by opening the door, so what is the point of making the sauna part of the package if you're just going to open the door all the time?!?!? The massage was underwhelming. Didn't focus on any areas, it was basically like I was just getting my skin touched and that was it. It also seemed like she was more focused on making the sheets straight rather than actually massage me! She must have straighter up the sheets more than actually try to massage me!! When getting the facial it seemed she was in a rush and I didn't realised until when I was home that I still had clay on my face! The pedicure was also rushed and I had the soft part on the side of my foot (veiny part, inner foot area) scrubbed which really hurt! When I was placed in the room after to let my toenails dry I was then asked what I would like to eat/drink. It took a further 5-10 minutes to get that prepared. Surely this could have been asked/organise while I was getting my pedicure so I could just get into the room to enjoy the food/drink. When handed my food/drink I was asked how it was; the lady didn't bother to let me reply, she started talking over me as I started talking, saying she would leave me until my toes should be dry and check back! I'm no expert on pedicures but I'm pretty sure the soft part of the foot shouldn't be scrubbed with that sandpaper contraption, nor should 4 thick layers of nail polish be slapped on the nail as it's now just gathered really badly into clumps. Only after I had paid was I asked how it was by the front receptionist and I informed the receptionist it wasn't good, at all! I was offered an email with the possibility of another Spa Retreat Pack to make up for the poor experience I had. I'm still waiting on this email... At this point, if I even get an email, I'd just like my money back and an explanation for how a paying customer can be treated so poorly for a service that's supposed to relax them, not aggravate, physically hurt and upset them! I received a facial. I expected it to be relaxing but found them to rush the process making it feel like it was being slopped on me. I also felt uncomfortable having to undress in front of her and at the end she came at me with a q tip and tried to put it up my nose! Very awkward and uncomfortable!!! My skin felt great afterward, but I really think that is testament to good quality products. Read Less

I absolutely love this nail salon! I do not have my nails worked on often dud to the fact I work in a green house and with horses but when I do I come here. No matter how beat up my hands look like when I go in they look fabulous upon leaving. The staff is wonderful and their prices are very reasonable to boot! Read Less

Gosh this place has never let me down, every time i go in for a treatment they always achieve exactly what i want (especially my eyebrows as they always need to be on point), and are always kind enough to let me know what would be the best idea for my ever so sensitive clogged skin ahhaha will always go back there :) Read Less
